Public Cloud Hosting Solutions

Sleek’s Public Cloud is one based on the traditional cloud computing model where resources such as VM’s, applications and storage are made available to our customers over the Internet using large multi-tenanted clusters. These clusters are architected using the same design principles as applied to our enterprise level bespoke environments and are enabled using physical hosts from the HP Proliant Server family, storage using NetApp appliances and security and load balancing tiers from Cisco and Brocade. The hypervisor layer is enabled using Citrix XenServer and our customers benefit from a fully managed service which includes monitoring and maintenance of the individual VM’s and the flexing of resources when required. Public VM’s incur a monthly flat fee and benefit from unlimited data transfers within their prescribed bandwidth tier.

All elements of the infrastructure have been designed with resilience in mind and our Cloud service spans multiple Data Centres. The platforms are serviced with resilient network connectivity, power and cooling. Our storage and backup systems allow us to automatically recover from component failure extremely quickly, protecting against disruption to services. Housed in our Data Centres with multiple gigabit Internet connections from Tier 1 ISPs, these services are ideally placed to provide a low-cost/high-performing internet infrastructure service.

We needed to ensure that system down time was kept to an absolute minimum and we haven’t been disappointed since choosing Sleek Networks in 2008.
